How much is the ride?

The ride is £6 per person (adults & children).
Book for 6 guests (must be on the exact same ride time) - and get a 16% discount on your booking saving £6 (6 guests ride for the price of 5) by entering coupon code JUNGLE at the checkout page.

How many people can ride at the same time?

The ride is suitable for a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 6 guests (adults or children).

What is the minimum age for this experience?

This ride is suitable for guests over 2 years old. The VR headsets may be too large for young (2-5) children; however they can still experience the ride by watching the TV instead.
For safety reasons children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Who is the ride not suitable for?

This ride is NOT RECOMMENDED for guests with:

• Motion sickness or dizziness
• Sufferers of vertigo
• People with a history of seizures or epilepsy
• Guests who are pregnant can use our VR Ride without any problem; however we advise that you consult with a medical professional before taking part. If you go on the VR ride without seeking medical advice/assurance first, then you do so at your own risk.

Is the ride wheelchair accessible?

The ride is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to access the ride seating with assistance from a member of their party. Our staff cannot assist you, except in an emergency.

Where can I find the Jungle Boat Ride Virtual Reality experience?

Here at Waterside Garden Centre. SATNAV Postcode: PE6 9NY. We are located just off the A15 at Baston.
Once you arrive, head to the main tills where signage will direct you to our VR check-in & queue area.

How long is the ride?

The ride experience will take approximately 5-10 min including a safety briefing & safety checks. The ride run time is 3 minutes.

What time should I arrive for my ride?

Please arrive at the VR Experience check-in desk 10 mins before your scheduled time. You will be required to watch a short safety briefing video before entering the ride. Late arrival could result in missing your alloted time.

Can I take photographs?

For safety reasons photography is not permitted on the ride, including mobile phones. Selfie sticks, monopods or similar are not permitted on the ride.

Can I bring food or drink?

No food or drink is permitted on the ride.

Can I amend my booking?

What if I miss my booking?

The booking is only valid for the date and time selected. If you miss your time slot, we will try to accommodate you at a later time if availability allows. In times of busy periods, this may not be possible. This includes late arrivals. No refunds will be given for unattended sessions.

Will I receive tickets & what should I bring with me?

You will not receive physical tickets. Once your payment is processed you will receive a paid reservation confirmation status email from Waterside Garden Centre which acts as your tickets/booking confirmation. You do not need to print this out; however the booking confirmation email MUST be presented to the check-in desk on arrival. Please have your booking confirmation email ready at check-in. Can my group ride without other guests?

Yes - smaller groups (2-6 persons) can book the ride exclusively by booking all 6 tickets at your single chosen time and also receive a 16% discount on your booking saving £6 by entering coupon code JUNGLE at the checkout page.

Can we turn up and ride without pre-booking?

There may be some 'walk-in' availability; however this cannot be guaranteed and it may include long wait times. If you want to ride, we recommend you book in advance. Walk-in availability will be subject to space and may not be possible. Book in advance, to secure your place.

What about Covid 19 safety?

All guests are required to be aware of the risk of Covid-19 before attending.
Please do not attend your session if you have:

• Signs of a fever or high temperature
• Persistent cough or respiratory problems
• You have had contact with any possible source of the virus

If you have Covid-19 or meet any of the above criteria, please remain at home and we will do our best to re-arrange your booking for a later date or time. If we are unable to re-arrange your booking and you, or any of your booking party are unable to attend due to COVID restrictions or COVID illness, then we will offer you a voucher for the value of your booking to be redeemed at a future date.

What cleaning procedures will be in place?

The VR headsets will be wiped with antibacterial/sterilising wipes in-between each use and points of contact will be regularly wiped down.
