Afternoon Tea is generously portioned for one and offers excellent value. We kindly ask that sharing is not permitted to ensure every guest (including children) enjoys the full experience.
Booking and Reservations
- Reservations: All afternoon tea services must be booked in advance. Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person. At the event, tables are reserved for 90 minutes to enjoy Afternoon Tea.
- Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel less than 72 hours before your reservation.
- Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed via email or phone once the deposit is received (if applicable). Your email will be added to our database, you will only receive emails from Waterside Garden Centre Ltd.
- Voucher Validity: All afternoon tea gift voucher are valid for 6 months from point of sale and are only valid from the date stated on the voucher. Your Gift Voucher features a unique reference ID code and cannot be extended beyond the expiry date shown on the front of the voucher.
Cancellation and Changes
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit.
- Changes to Booking: Any changes to the booking (e.g., number of guests, dietary requirements) must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they are not guaranteed.
Waterside, retain the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue any aspect of the Afternoon Tea Policy at our discretion. Such changes may include, but are not limited to, adjustments in the timing, duration, menu offerings, or general guidelines surrounding afternoon tea. We will make necessary notifications to booked events.
Pricing and Payment
- Use of Voucher: must be presented by the bearer on arrival and vouchers must be redeemed in one transaction
- Pricing: Prices for afternoon tea are per person unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for special requests or extra items.
- Payment: The remaining balance (if any) is payable on the day of your reservation. Please note we only accept credit cards, and debit cards.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies
- Special Dietary Needs: Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
- Responsibility: Guests with severe allergies should take personal responsibility for their own safety. We are not liable for any allergic reactions.
Liability
- Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings brought into the premises, for example balloons, balloon arches etc.
- Damage: Guests are liable for any damage caused to the premises or property during their visit.
Miscellaneous
- Photography: Photography is permitted, but please be considerate of other guests' privacy. Don’t forget to tag us on social media!
- Children: Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times, and must be participating in the event. The children's afternoon tea is suitable for children under 12.
