Storytime with Santa Event Information

Storytime with Santa is a festive themed family event for Christmas 2025!

Previously known as Breakfast & Tea with Santa but with all the magic as before! Your child will receive an early Christmas present, a certificate from Santa & listen to a magical Christmas story read by Santa himself! Plus decorate your own Christmas cookie & other festive activities with delicious, freshly prepared food. Each session will run for approx. 1 hour 15 mins.
(Storytime with Santa on Christmas Eve will run for approx. 2 hours).

This festive event is suitable for children aged 12 & under. Anyone attending over the age of 12 will need to book an 'Adult' Ticket.

This is a ticket ONLY event - all adults & children who would like to attend require a pre-booked ticket.

Important Information: Dates & Availability

Storytime with Santa will from the last weekend in November then every Saturday & Sunday in December until Christmas week, and then Mon 22^nd, Tue 23^rd & Wed 24^th December. Please note - not every session time will run on every day, please see below for full dates & availability.

This event will be held in the Waterside Restaurant, Waterside Garden Centre.

How to Book
1. Visit the event booking page
2. Select your date & choose your session time.
3. Choose the number of Guests (group size is not limited however max. of 4 adult tickets per group booking).
4. Click 'Book Now'.
5. Fill in the details on the following screen when prompted for each participant.
6. Fill in the purchaser information. Your tickets will be emailed to this person.
7. Check out securely using PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account - you can pay by credit or debit card through PayPal).
FAQ

How many people can attend each session?

Each session has a limited capacity. Booking group size is not limited; however no individual booking group can contain more than 4 adult tickets to maximise the availability of the event for children attending.

Do babies count in the booking?

Yes in order to safely plan guest numbers. Anyone attending the event of any age must be declared in the booking - babies under 1 year old will not participate in the event and there is no charge for the ticket; however they must be allocated a ticket. Please select the FREE 'Under 1 ticket' in this circumstance.

Why can I only book 4 adult tickets?

We want to maximise the availability of this event for children, therefore we are restricting bookings to 4 adults per booking. Any bookings with more than 4 Adult tickets - will be cancelled. This festive event is suitable for children aged 12 & under. Anyone attending over the age of 12 will need to book an 'Adult' Ticket. If you are a school booking or require carers to attend that will be above this limit please contact us before booking.

What are the food options?

Food options vary depending on which time slot is booked.
9am - Cooked breakfast or Vegan breakfast option for Children & Adults.
3pm - Child - choice of meals (chicken goujons, macaroni cheese, sausage & mash. Adult - choice of meals (ciabatta selection, BLT, jacket potato). Full details are available when booking tickets in the food selection menu.
Christmas Eve 9am - Cooked breakfast or Vegan breakfast option for Children & Adults.
Christmas Eve 12pm - Adult - Choice of Eggs Benedict, Bacon Pancakes, or Shakshuka
Child - Choice of Fruit Pancakes or Chicken & Waffle.

We will not be able to modify the menu; however any allergies or intolerences will be catered for. Please declare any allergies when booking in the required field.
